This
game is our personnal mix between two famous games on
Snes "Chrono Trigger" and "Final Fantasy 6".
They are both created by Squaresoft, which is
very famous for its RPG
Home page In fact, it will be the sequel of this
two games. We want to create a sequel since Square has
never realised a real sequel for its games.
The main characters will be : Crono, Marle, Lucca,
Frog, Robo, Ayla, Magus, Terra, locke, Edgar, Sabin,
Celes, Relm and another mysterious character.
The
story will be original and we hope that you will love
it. But at this moment we don't now if we will offer
multiple-endings or not.
Nevertheless, it should take a long time before you
will be able to see the end.
All
has been started when Ayla killed Lavos
with Crono and Marle, and when Kefka was defeated.
Ayla was infused with a toxic black substance
escaped from Lavos, which has changed its DNA...
As usual, quests, parallels sotries and tiny
games will be available.
We will use our graphical library "Genlib"
which is very fast and offer a high quality
of Grayscale. We will try to get the maximum
of its performance (Sma uses also Genlib) to
offer a new game experience.
The graphisms will be taken from "Chrono Trigger"
and "Final Fantasy 6" (Snes) and converted into
4 levels of grays. So the graphisms should be
very good ! Note that the characters of Final
Fantasy 6 will be transformated (Enlarged).
The lack of musique during the game is a problem
which we haven't solved yet.
The way of fighting will be quite original.
There won't be random battles. All ennemies
can be seen on screen, giving players the option
to outrun or avoid unecessary battles. When
you pass in battle mode, you will stay on the
same screen.
The battle system will provide :
@ Tech : Attack
the ennemies with Fight/Magic/Special
@ Break: Memorise
a counter-attack.
@ Move : Move your
player.
@ Item : Classic...
Some
attacks will be only available if your parties
members will be at some positions (like the attack
'pentagram' which invoks Lucifer and if your players
aren't in a pentagram, it will attacks you instead
of your ennemies).
Some ennemies will be only weakable with Counter-Attack.
There will be also the limits, but it will be
different from FF7, i.e. it will only be available,
most of times, against Boss, due to the equation
: DLimit/Limmax = DHp/Hpmax.
When your player is in a fury, all your attacks
will be more powerfull !
The attack will use high powerfull routines
: video, multi-planes, Dhz, Hdz, gravitric shield,
complex trajectories, Zoom, Rotation, Transparency,
...
For
the moment, we have made only the engine, and
for the moment we haven't done the battle engine (which
is quite complex). But the main points of the story
is written.
